Street Lines

Street skating starts with attention.

The spot is not just the obstacle. It is the run-up, the surface, the landing, the traffic, the people, and the way out. A good street skater reads all of it before the first push.

Look for the line nobody else noticed.

The four-point street check

  1. Approach: Is there enough clean ground to set up without rushing?
  2. Surface: Check cracks, gravel, water, and painted lines before you commit.
  3. Landing: Find the roll-away first. The trick only counts if you can ride out.
  4. Exit: Know where cars, pedestrians, and security will move before you do.

Build a line, not a checklist.

Start with one easy trick. Add a push, a turn, or a small obstacle. Link only what you can control. A clean three-piece line always feels better than a single lucky move.

Pack light, stay ready.

A skate tool, spare bearings, water, and a little patience cover most sessions. Keep the setup simple so more of your attention stays on the street.
